Hello all

I just had to spruce up my journal to match the snazzy new deviantART! After only a couple of minutes using V5 and I think I already love it. I mean the functionality seems great and I always like a good update now and again.

Just to fill you in on the recent happening in my life. I finished university and got a 2:1 for my Film Studies Degree! That was about two and a half months ago and since then me and my girlfriend are staying in Sheffield. We're both working, Liz is in an office and I'm a sales advisor at Debenhams!! I know its not Film Studies related or art related but it pays the bills right now and that's the most important thing. I'm on the look out for other work in Sheffield so I hope I reach a nice settled place in my life pretty soon. Art news, well I'm in the process of getting my painting sold in some shops around Sheffield and the possibility of a website and such. Still in the early stages right now but that's keeping my creative juices flowing.

This revamp has motivated me to keep this journal up to date. I've got a blog on the go so it shouldn't be too hard to stop of here and leave a little something.

Hello all

Stressed time ahead!

First off, i've got to write my dissertation in about a week! I'm so far behind it's gonig to be working like crazy every day from now on. Also got two essays to write some time too!

So i've got all that going on so if I asked you when would be the worst time for my computer to die and have to be sent away for two weeks, when would you say that would be.......how about right now! So not only have I got all this work but its all got to be done at uni! To be fair the uni computer centre is really nice and open 24 hours so its not the worst situation it could be.

So basically that means no art from me til after all this is done! May 10th is the deadline for it all and then I'm finished uni! I'm staying in Sheffield and we've got a new place which we can move into on July the 1st. Its a really nice place, its all really new and has an awesome sofa. For those out there that have experienced living in student accomodation you might know what I mean when I speak of missing a sofa - its a under valued piece of furniture!

Any spare time i've got I'm going to be relaxing playing Guitar Hero on the PS2! Its an awesome game that everyone should play! Rock and or Roll on!

Hello all

Wow wow wow, it's been a while! Last journal entry December 4th 2005! This has simply been down to a general last of ant art being produced over here in Dave town. I've got a few things on the go but its all being put off because I'm in the third and final year of my degree! This means a general increase in work but more importantly my dissertation! The grading scheme has worked out that my dissertation is *really* important so I really can't afford to get it wrong. True, I should have started it ages ago but I can't go back in time and tell myself to start writing soon, plus if I did I'd tell myself to calm down and have a drink of cider! News from the start of December, well Christmas was fun, I got a cartridge for my GBA that means I can play games off the internet – its awesome and has really got me back into GBA heaven. My girlfriend got me an awesome gift – an X-Arcade. It's a massive arcade pad (two player) that plugs into the PC and my PS2, let me tell you that fighting games are so good on an arcade pad and now I've got that fun at home!

My tattoos still looking good, I haven't changed my feeling about it and it's been a couple of months now. I really want another one now though! The last one took me ages to figure out what I wanted so I'll probably get this next one in 2007!

The biggest news that's been going on in my life recently is that I was going to go to Japan after I finished my degree. Note the use of the word 'was'! Turns out that its just going to be too expensive. It's not so much that I don't have the cash its just that I cant afford to spend it all on a holiday – I'm planning to stay in Sheffield after uni so I'll need rent and stuff. Three of my friends are still going (it was planned to be 5 of us) so I can enjoy the trip through them – well that's what I'm telling myself anyway! My university days are almost coming to an end so who knows what life is going to be like in 6 months time! Its pretty scary actually as I've got no real plans yet!

Hello all

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything! I've been busy and haven't created anything in so long so I've got nothing to submit! I've been introduced to anime so many hours of my life have been sucked away. Cowboy Bebop, FMA, Naturo all awesome shows I feel like I've been missing out for so long. Thanks to my friend Aaron for sharing his anime collection. After many months of searching I finally settled on a design for my tattoo (oh yeah, I wanted a tattoo) and went and got it done! Check my scraps for a pic. I got a large pixelated arrow on my right forearm. Its actually a massive cursor with each pixel 1cm by 1cm and took about 2 hours to do. I'm so spiggin' pleased with it, I love it! Lets all get tattooed!

I also had an awesome Halloween this year! We all got dressed up and me and my girlfriend Liz went as Mario and Luigi! Check scraps for a pic.

I'm making a conscious effort to be more active on DA so you'll be hearing more from me soon.
