Killer

Wow – something original for a change. After my stint of digital portraits (I promised more but gave up) I’m feeling that realism is a bit restrictive at the moment. I see such creative stuff on dA, folk’s original characters getting up to original and interesting things. I’m proud of my technical abilities but I’m lacking a real creative side – something I’m going to work on. This was a pencil sketch of a random guy with a beard like mine – I added glasses and turned it into me (looks nothing like me apart form the easy things, beard/glasses/red hair etc. I’m easy to make in a computer game – slap those things on any character model and you’ve got an instant Dave!)

The theme came about from the expression on the face and the new brushes I got from <Thanks dude! (just found out about the downloadable brushes for Photoshop on dA…hey I’m still learning!)

All done in one short go – not knowing where it was going to end up.
